Here's What You'll Learn
part one
Skincare essentials
You'll learn the essentials for your bespoke morning and evening skincare routine, targeting any specific skin concerns and learning how to create the ideal canvas for makeup. A write up of your full skincare routine including product recommendations will be sent to you following your lesson.
part two
Foundation selection
You'll learn what undertone you are and which key words to look out for to achieve the correct shade match in future when shopping for foundation. You'll be matched with the best option for you from Demi's extensive pro-kit and taught how to apply it for the most flawless and longlasting finish.
part three
Colour analysis
You'll learn your colour season and which shades and depth of colours look best on you and why. Your ideal combination of eye, lip and cheek shades and formulas will be selected for you based on our aims for your makeup, and your specific requirements. If you've booked The Works, you'll be taught how and where to add more intensity to switch up your look from day to evening.
part four
Application techniques
At all stages of your 1-1 lesson you'll learn the right amount of product to apply, where to place the product, how to blend the product, which tools to use for the best finish and why. You'll be working alongside Demi who will apply to half of the face, then you will replicate the technique on the other half of the face.

Prior to your lesson you'll be sent a questionnaire to tell us about your current beauty routine and specific concerns.

During your lesson you'll be working alongside Demi and practising the techniques as you're taught them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where do lessons take place?
Lessons take place at Demi's home studio in Harlow CM20, on the east Herts/west Essex border. If coming from London we are a 16 minute train journey from Tottenham Hale, or just off the M11 if driving.
When can I book my lesson for?
During peak wedding season (May-Sept) lessons take place on Fridays, subject to our availability. From October to April lessons take place on Fridays and Saturdays, subject to our availability.
How long are the lessons?
Lessons last from 2 hours for our Everyday Elevated to 4 hours for our more in-depth tutorial The Works, For further details on what's involved in each of our lessons please see our menu to find out more.
How do I book a lesson?
To purchase your lesson we require full payment on booking to reserve and secure your date. Lessons are booked online via our instant online scheduling page.

Can I purchase a lesson as a gift?

Can I book a joint lesson with a friend?
Due to the highly bespoke nature of our lessons we recommend Makeup Mini Lessons and Everyday Elevated Lessons as the most suitable to book for two. Please get in touch to find out more!
Do I practice the look myself?
Absolutely! We believe that learning by doing is a really important part of the process, and you'll work alongside Demi, taking one side of the face each so that you can copy the techniques and receive feedback in real time.
Should I bring my makeup and brushes?
Yes, we recommend bringing your most used everyday makeup and brush collection with you so that we can identify any gaps, however your custom everyday or bridal look, and the look we teach you, will be designed primarily using products from Demi's pro-kit.
